Secret (magic) Ingredients

Marketeers gone wild! Now hear this: at last Excedrin has developed (at great expense) a cure for the common migraine headache - what a relief! As their TV ad proudly shows the package the secret ingredients are revealed on the cover : acetaminophen (otherwise known as Tylenol), aspirin and caffeine. I envision their research team wielding mortars and pestles until one shouts "eureka!"
Whoda thunk it? They are now deep into developing a reptilian petroleum distillate as a cure-all for whatever ails you. Keep you eyes on the tube for the announcement.

"Reptilian petroleum distillate"? Reverend Snodgrass, do you mean the common old "snake oil" that is so beneficial to practitioners of the art of healing?

Yes, snake oil for the psychosomatic.
Personally I subscribe to the Corpus Hippocraticum (the centerfolds are awesome!)

My gripe with drug companies is not so much with their ingredients - after all, it has always been caveat emptor - my gripe is that I can't read the labels anymore without a magnifying glass. The print has gotten smaller and smaller and smaller. If I need a pill I should not have to get a magnifying glass out in the middle of the night to make sure I'm getting the right dosage.
